Valley of the Kings

miron kiriliv ®

Waipio Valley is a truly magical place, with history dating back to pre-captain Cook days, were native Hawaian considered this place a spiritual unity, Kapa or sacred place. The only difference was the trees, that were implanted onto the land and were used to build the locomotive train line around the island. It was a big project until one of the bridges collapsed, because of the lava flows and it was abandoned.

The black spot on the drawing was coincidental, after the wind turned over my black ink on my drawing pad. I don't consider this a mistake, rather a part of the drawing. And by the way it took me a few more days to find a local art store to get some new ink and drawing utensils.
